All Ye Faithful fill park for carols
THE song books were out and Leslie Park was filled with the sounds of music at last night's Carols in the Park.
Families gathered around on picnic rugs to sing songs, from traditional favourites such as O Come All Ye Faithful to hits like Rocking Around the Christmas Tree and Jingle Bell Rock.
Special guest performer Lyn Bowtell, a two-time Golden Guitar winner and MO Award winner, wowed the crowd with her soulful sound.
Stars on the stage also included Erin Hilton, Melissa Williams, Nash, Mayor Peter Blundell, Lucy Boland, Keely Hilton, Emma Siebenhausen, Libby Brown, Ben Vellacott and Clayton Vellacott.
