Allora Cup patrons ready to gather at Allman Park

THE Railway Hotel Allora Cup will be run on Sunday at Allman Park.

Presentations will be made to the best dressed who will be judged by representatives from Allora.

There are seven events on the card with the first race at noon.

The Railway Hotel Allora Cup will be race 6 and is scheduled to start at 3.05pm.

The cup will be presented by Robyn Miles from the Railway Hotel.

This Sunday's cup will be the second this year and third overall as the cup has been moved from January to November as the new timeslot is away from the Allora Show.

There are now three annual cups at Allman Park, Warwick, Killarney and Allora.

The Allora Cup was run in the last century and the original cup still exists.

All races will be televised on Sky TV.

It is expected five to six bookies will stand at Warwick on Sunday with the TAB also on course. Patrons can bet on Warwick races and all other TAB races in the nation.

There will be some marquee trackside for patrons keen to get out of the heat.

A bus has been arranged to transport Allora patrons from the best little town on the Downs and return.

Cup festivities start with the Calcutta tonight at the Railway Hotel with a bus leaving Allman Park at 6pm.

Bookings for the bus through the turf club on 4661 1023.
