Amazing bubble man to wow Warwick children these holidays

FOR the past 20 years, Glen Rhodes has worked the children's party circuit, performed at countless schools and community festivals, and during the September school holidays he will be at Warwick's Rose City Shoppingworld.

Mr Rhodes is a magician, a balloon animals sculptor and a scientist but for Warwick shows he'll do something a little different.

"I'm doing some bubble shows,” he said.

"The act is all about soap bubbles, it's a funny interactive show with lots of bubbles.”

He starts with a few small bubbles that kids can chase around and pop. This slowly builds to an avalanche of bubbles before shifting tone to something strange.

"I have a volcano bubble, it's full of smoke, it looks like a volcano when I pop it. I do bubble beards, bubbles inside bubbles and general bubble related activities,” Mr Rhodes said.

"Finally some of the children get put inside a giant soap bubble.”

The great thing about bubbles there's no age limit on who can enjoy them.

"Everyone loves bubbles,” Mr Rhodes said.

"With magic shows, some have an age barrier and they are not suitable for kids under a certain age. But the thing about the bubble show is you can bring a baby along and if they have eyes they are going to see those bubbles float around and they'll go, 'wow'.

"Even adults are entertained by the bubbles.”
