Ambulance called to Warwick watchhouse

PARAMEDICS are responding to a call out to the Warwick Police Station to treat a man in custody.

Warwick Police Sergeant Ryan Harmer said the man was experiencing blood pressure problems so an ambulance crew were called.

The man, who is about 50 years old, is set to be taken to Warwick Hospital.

Sgt Harmer said the man had been in custody for about 45 minutes and remained conscious.

A spokesman from Queensland Ambulance Services said paramedics were called to the scene about 1.15pm.
