Andrew boosts fishing event

ALTHOUGH businessman Andrew Gale will be stuck behind the wheel this Sunday, he wanted to make sure Warwick kids enjoyed a great day by the water.

Mr Gale, who owns AG Licensing, last week donated $200 toward the event, which will kick off at Connolly Dam from 8am.

"I can't be there to help because I have to work so I thought I would help out financially," he said.

"It's a great family morning, where the kids can do some fishing and there are giveaways and a free barbecue by the water."

Organiser Ed Kemp said he expected the event to be a huge success, with Warwick last year recording the second highest attendance rate in the state.

"It's a great morning out and all families have to do is drive to Connolly Dam - it doesn't cost anything," Mr Kemp said.
