Anissa takes up new role

THE NEW guard at Granite Belt Wine and Tourism (GBWT) came round the traps yesterday and stopped into the Daily News office to introduce herself.

Anissa Williams (above right) will take over the role of marketing director Michele Cozzi (left)who leaves for England in May.

Mrs Cozzi said Miss Williams possessed both the technical qualifications and hands-on experience required in the role.

“I was on the selection panel and we went through a rigorous process,” she said.

“We had about 14 applicants from all over the country and one from Ireland and Anissa was hands down the stand-out.”

Miss Williams last worked in the wine regions of Western Australia, giving her great insight into the Granite Belt.
