Hats are in for Xmas races

RACEGOERS are not the only ones gearing up for this Saturday's Great Big Christmas Party race day at Allman Park, Warwick.

Robyn Fraser, of Classic Dimensions, said she had already experienced an upturn in business from ladies buying new outfits and hats for the first race day back after a three month break due to the Equine Influenza lock down.

With the Warwick Cup cancelled in October, and the Melbourne Cup a more low-key affair this year, Mrs Fraser said she felt customers in general were looking forward to the races.

"Business has definitely picked up and ladies have already been in to the shop looking for hats," Mrs Fraser said.

"I think people that were going to the Warwick Cup are really geared up to go and have a good time this Saturday."
