Arabian nights head to Killarney

THE Killarney P-10 State School Musical will be presented on Wednesday, June 24, at the Killarney Recreation Centre.

Co-ordinator Jenny Dumigan said they would have a matinee performance at 11am for the students and the Killarney Memorial Aged Care residents followed by a performance at 7pm for parents, students and community members.

Mrs Dumigan said patrons could bring along blankets to keep warm if the weather were cool.

She said the musical this year was based on Aladdin Trouble set within the context of the 1001 Arabian Nights from which the story originates.

This panto-style version of Aladdin contains all the traditional elements and characters, alongside a whole host of less conventional ones.
