Arrest after Killarney break-ins

A MAN arrested in connection with a spate of business break-ins at Killarney last week has appeared in court.

Michael John Trevor, 43, was located by police at Inverell in northern New South Wales on Friday night, after allegedly entering several businesses on Willow St on Thursday night.

He has been charged with those offences, plus others police allege were committed elsewhere, including the theft of a vehicle from Sydney which he lists as his place of residence.

Trevor appeared in Inverell Local Court this morning and was remanded in custody, to appear in court again on a date to be set.

Police are attempting to return items of property stolen from Killarney.

Trevor is alleged to have stolen cigarettes from Killarney Newsagency and cash and alcohol from the Killarney Hotel.
