Artworks on display at new exhibition opening

GLEN Aplin Gardens Art Gallery will display the works of talented artists from around Australia at its newest gallery.

The Art of Shapes opens tomorrow night at Glen Aplin Gardens, 311 Stabiles Rd, Glen Aplin.

Southern Downs Regional Council Mayor Tracy Dobie will officiate at the opening.

The night will commence at 6pm, with light refreshments and a complimentary glass of wine.

The gallery features a number of talented Granite Belt artists and gallery enthusiasts will be provided with the chance to meet them all.

Guests will also be able to enjoy the musical entertainment provided by Warwick classical and Spanish guitarist Warren Connors.

Guests will also be able to take in the grounds, with artworks both from inside the exhibition, plus garden sculptures in the gardens adjacent to the Glen Aplin Art Gallery.

The exhibition will continue until Sunday, April 16.
