Athletes to gather Thursday for Warwick All Schools
ATHLETICS: Students from
as far away as Clifton will
be in action at Thursday's
13-19 years All Schools athletics at Briggs Oval at Scots PGC.
Javelin and 1500m were two of the events on Wednesday afternoon.
Two of the first events on Thursday will be walks and hurdles. There will be action from 9am to after 2pm on the track and in field events.
This carnival is a forerunner to the Darling Downs Regional Championships at Hamilton Oval in Warwick on August 31-September 1.
It is tipped competitor numbers could be down this year as the flu has hit many in the community, including students at district schools.
