Australia so far unbeaten in international Polocrosse comp

AUSTRALIA is unbeaten after the first two days of international polocrosse action at the Bony Mountain Recreation Grounds.

Ireland junior and intermediate (under-21) teams are in the Warwick area for a fortnight to play international games at Bony Mountain this weekend and Morgan Park on August 16-18.

Round robins are being played between Australia, Ireland, PAA Australian development teams and Queensland.

The official internationals are on the Sunday of each carnival.

Australia is unbeaten in the round robins after two days.

The Australian juniors beat Queensland 24-6 on Saturday and the Australian intermediate side won 22-11 against Queensland.

In the other round robin games on Saturday, the PAA Joeys beat Ireland 23-7 in juniors and the PAA Colts and Fillies overcame the Ireland challenge 19-11.

The internationals and finals of the Cunningham Club carnival will be played today.
