Author Thea Hayes is set to tour Southern Downs

AUTHOR Thea Hayes is set to tour Southern Downs libraries this month with her new novel An Outback Nurse.

The book combines Ms Hayes' experiences as an outback nurse in the 1960s with historic events such as the campaign for land rights.

Ms Hayes will read part of her story and sign books at Stanthorpe Library on Thursday at 10.30am, Allora Library on March 18 at 10am and Warwick Library on March 25 at 10.30am.
