Baby born on way to Hervey Bay Hospital

A BABY was born in an ambulance on the way to Hervey Bay Hospital in the early hours of Wednesday morning. 

Maryborough paramedics delivered a healthy baby, believed to be the sixth child for the family, en-route to hospital from Maryborough at 5am. 

Paramedics received the call at 4.15am. 

Mum and bub are doing well in hospital. 

The sex of the baby is unknown.
