The Bachelor star Gia Allemand, 29, dies after suicide: TMZ
A YOUNG star of The Bachelor Gia Allemand has reportedly committing suicide following a troubled relationship with her NBA player boyfriend. She was just 29.
Allemand, a contestant on season 14 of the dating reality TV show was found at home by Ryan Anderson on Monday, TMZ reports.
Anderson rushed her to hospital, where Allemand remained in a critical condition on life support.
Her family said she was hospitalised after an "emergency medical event".
TMZ has reported the cause of death is suicide, adding the reality star had been distressed by her troubled relationship with Anderson.
Former Bachelor star Sean Lowe tweeted: "My prayers go out to @GiaAllemand's family during this time. Life on Earth is but a vapour and she's with our Lord now."
