BEAT THE HEAT: Best beers to cool down this weekend

SUMMER has came down on Warwick in a big way over the past few days, and this week is no exception.

In order to beat the soaring temperatures, the prospect of a nice cold one tops the list.

We went around town and asked some of our hoteliers on the best brews to keep Rose City residents cool this weekend.

WARWICK RSL - GREAT NORTHERN

Ian Lowe: "It has a good taste, and is nice and cold. It's one of our most popular beers.”

THE CRITERION HOTEL - IRON JACK

Kylie Jenner: "It is a mid-strength and a little different to Gold, but has really started to take off now.”

HORSE AND JOCKEY HOTEL - CORONA

Benita Kelly: "They're not too expensive, are a nice drink with a lemon or lime, and go well in a bucket.”

THE MALT HOUSE - STONE & WOOD

Jake Hatton: "It is the cheapest for the price, is a popular pale ale and is one of the nicest.”
