AUSSIE RULES: Warwick was one of five teams to win by more than 100 points in AFL Darling Downs fixtures at the weekend.

The Redbacks won with a score of 33.14. (212) to the 1.2. (8) of bottom team Chinchilla.

Ben Heppell kicked 12 goals with Tyhe Clarkson kicking seven in the win at Warwick Credit Union Oval.

Ben Lubben was the top player for the Redbacks after playing his first game in the ruck and finishing with 37 centre bounces.

Mitch Darton and Shane Iles both impressed in the backline.

Last season, Darton played in Armidale where he was attending university and is now in his first season with the Warwick Redbacks.

Kris Millard was outstanding in the midfield and might be permanently shifted from the forward line.

Coolaroo beat Highfields by 122 points and South Toowoomba won over Dalby by 269 points.

Goondiwindi scored 108 points more than South Burnett in the Saturday game at Goondiwindi.

USQ Cougars finished 136 points ahead of Toowoomba Tigers.

Warwick travel to Kingaroy for Saturday's game against South Burnett, the third-placed team.

Warwick is equal fourth with Coolaroo and, based on for and against, is marginally ahead of Coolaroo.
