Biloela teenager will take his chance on The Voice tonight

THE Voice is about to get a taste of Central Queensland's musical talent on tonight's show.

Former Biloela teenager Isaac McGovern will hit the stage to try to impress the four superstar judges.

Will.I.Am, Kylie Minogue, Joel Madden and Ricky Martin will listen to the 19-year-old sing, as the teen hopes to make it through to the next round.

And Central Queenslanders are expected to tune in.

The return of The Voice has peaked at more than 38,900 viewers.

The audience average was more than 27,000.

This was a 7% increase year on year.

Nearly 2000 more viewers tuned in compared to last year's launch.

Meanwhile, this won't be the first time Central Queensland has tuned in to support a local singer.

Last year, Emerald's Sophie Phillis was chosen by Delta Goodrem to be on her team.

Sophie made it through to the battle rounds before being eliminated from the show.
