FLORENCE Wilson was speaking from experience when she revealed her secret to living a long and healthy life.
"Eat plenty," Florence said.
"And dance, dance, dance."
Florence celebrated her 99th birthday on Wednesday with her son John, daughter-in-law Lorna and a cake covered in candles.
"We had a bit of fun," Florence said.
"We ate a lot."
Florence, who was born in a suburb just north of Wollongong, said she moved to Warwick a few years ago.
"I only gave up dancing four years ago," she said.
"I did a lot of ballroom, but was happy to do whatever was going."
Lorna said her mother-in-law was "perfect", with not a single health issue.
"Next year's celebrations will be a little bigger," Lorna said.
