Birthday girl charged with "excessive noise" at own 21st
INGLEWOOD police presented a 21-year-old woman with a "birthday present" with a difference after she was charged with disobeying a noise abatement direction.
Overnight Friday, Inglewood police received numerous complaints about the noise from the woman's 21st at a residence in McIntyre St West, Inglewood.
Inglewood police said they attended the party on five occasions after complaints.
"At around 2am Saturday, police issued a noise abatement directive," an Inglewood police spokeswoman said.
"Police deemed the noise excessive when they attended at 5.30am and issued the woman with a notice to appear in court for disobeying a police directive."
The woman will appear in Inglewood Magistrates Court on May 11.
