Blockbuster clash
TOMORROW afternoon's match in the TRL is shaping up to be a blockbuster, despite the Cowboys and Gatton's positions on the ladder.
The Cowboys will be hosting Gatton at Father Ranger Oval and will be looking to gain revenge on a Gatton team that beat them in their last meet-up.
Coach Gary Lawrence is confident the Cowboys can turn the tide against the Gatton team, with their last match of a fiery nature, resulting the Cowboys having a player sent off and a player sin-binned, so it was not their best day at the office.
The Cowboys welcome back Brendan McNicol from a one-week suspension - thanks to an early guilty plea - Garth Miller and Waka Hakiti, whose calf pulled up well at training.
Lawrence hopes the Cowboys are at full strength and they are eagerly awaiting the return of Michael O'Keefe, who has been out for seven weeks and will be back within the next two.
This is an important match for the Cowboys, as they will be looking to finish the last three rounds of the season on a winning note and take some momentum into the pre-season.
Before the seniors take to the field, the Warwick and District Junior Rugby semi-finals will be played at Eastern Suburbs.
Five grades - under 11s-under 16s - will play from 8.30am with a fun gala day for under 7s-10s also being played.
