Blue Light Disco on tonight

TONIGHT sees the ever popular Blue Light Disco move to its winter home at the Redbacks clubhouse in Jackie Howe Dr.

Event organiser Peter Hardwick said with the colder weather, the decision was made to move the disco inside.

“I went to the new venue for the first time the other day, it’s not quite as big so it’s going to be a lot more intimate and our lighting set up will have a much better effect indoors,” he said.

“Sometimes we get a large turnout, other times not so large, so this new venue will be perfect for us and the Redbacks have been great.”

Mr Hardwick said as they move to an exciting new venue, he would like to see more people roll up their sleeves to help them continue to provide the great event.

“I would like to put the call out for more volunteers, we can always use new blood and new ideas.”

There will be hot chips and drinks available, as well as a jumping castle and of course, great music.

The disco is for those in Prep to Year 9.
