BLUECARE Warwick benefit of $3000 from the Lions Club of Warwick Inc.

Late last year during the Christmas season the Lions Club of Warwick Inc. conducted a fundraiser in favor of the BLUECARE Warwick branch , in the form of a CUBBY HOUSE 2016 Fundraiser, that resulted the winner was Judy Ward, ticket No. 833.
At Last week dinner meeting of our Lions Club we had the pleasure of the official visit of of the Lions District Q1 Zone Chairman Mark McCosker accompanied by the Stanthorpe Lions Club president, John Smales,
Also we had a special guest from the BLUE CARE Warwick, Tanya Loy representing the organization manager Angela Davis , to whom Lions Club of Warwick President Concetto Lo Giudice presented a $3000 Cheque been the proceeded of the CUBBY HOUSE 2016.
President Con in presenting the Cheque said , he like to see the money would be used for the Blue Care Facilities in need. Tanya Loy Thanked the Lions for the generosity support done over the years.
President Con said" The Cubby House has been for so many years fundraising project dedicated to the Blue Care Warwick, an the Warwick Woodcrafters Associations were major contributors to the projects as they been for so many years in building the Cabby Houses and the Warwick Lions Club appreciated their wonderful work in assisting with our fundraising for the Warwick Blue Care.
This Year we decided to list this as one of many projects our club will endure during the Lions Club International Centennial Celebration."
He said,
"It was interested that during late last year selling this raffle a young lady purchased some tickets , she claimed to be the first winner of the inaugural Cubby House raffle run by our club , around 15 years ago. She still has the Cubby House is in good conditions and her children still play in it. "
