Bluesfest still missing the Young
IT'S never a young cast and next year is no exception.
The second line-up announcement for Bluesfest 2012 is in and Crosby, Stills and Nash head up this contingent; minus the Young.
The trio, one of the first ever supergroups including David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash have headlined benefit concerts throughout 2011 in the US and will play the Easter long weekend at Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm next year.
Neil Young hasn't played with the band since their Freedom of Speech tour in 2006. However, festival director Peter Noble hasn't quite ruled out an appearance.
"I'll get my magic wand out and see what I can do," Noble said when asked about Neil Young joining the trio.
"I'm not making any promises, though."
Also joining the stellar line-up are ska-punk rockers The Specials, along with: Lucinda Williams, John Hiatt and The Combo, Donovan, Angelique Kidjo, Seasick Steve, Keb Mo, Nick Lowe, Rosie Ledet, Seth Lakeman, Harry Manx, Fabulous Thunderbirds and Alabama 3.
