Bob hopes for dry weather at Boxing Day Races

SINCE 1986 Bob Hope has been a major sponsor of the Warwick Boxing Day Races and this year will be no exception.

Mr Hope said he hoped the weather would allow for another great year at the Allman Park track.

"We've had a few races washed out over the years but hopefully this won't be one of them," he said.

"It's always a great day at the races, people who haven't been home in awhile are all gathered for Christmas and it's a great chance to reunite with friends and family for a fun day out."

Mr Hope said since becoming a major sponsor with the Warwick Turf Club the races had gotten bigger and better every year.

"The club is always aiming higher and attracting more people," he said.

"We've always had a lot of fun, it's a great day and I'll be looking forward to it."
