Police confirmed a suicide note was found but were still looking for the gun that killed the Hunt family.
On Tuesday, NSW Police formed a "strike force" to investigate the deaths.
Two crime scenes have been established at the property -- one at the house, the other near the dam where divers today found the remains.
Police said at the time there were "grave concerns" for Mr Hunt.
