IN HIS 5th book on Holdens, Don Loffler continues to produce fresh information, and unearth previously-unseen photos.

This book concentrates on the 10 models released between 1948 and 1966.

Each model is given a chapter containing some background to the development of the model, some personal anecdotes from owners, and copious photos of the cars on the road, or posed beside the road.

It is no surprise (at least to this baby boomer!) that the EH was the most popular model in the timeframe covered by the book, to the extent that the author has even tracked down one owner who traded his under-performing EJ on a new EH after all of six weeks of EJ ownership.

While this is a book very much for the Holden enthusiast, it is also a significant addition to Australia's motoring heritage.
