Boot-load of bargains at Allora this Sunday

BRING plenty of small change and an eye for a bargain to the Allora Car Boot Sale this Sunday. Almost 50 will feature at the event, an initiative of Allora State School's P&C Association.

A variety of new and pre-loved items will be presented for sale including clothing, toys, books, bric-a-brac, LP records, antique furniture, tools and even a quad bike.

A jumble sale of donated items will raise funds for reading resources for Prep to Year 2 classes.

Donations of clean and saleable items can be made at the school office by this Friday, or to the sale site from 8am. Perhaps find a locally made gift for yourself or someone special at the "HarvestED" stall of cheeseboards, wine bottle holders, chessboards and cutting boards - all created by Allora State School students.

A sausage sizzle and cold drinks will be available during the morning and a jumping castle on offer to entertain the kids.

The car boot sale will be held from 9am to noon at the school soccer grounds, at the corner of Darling and Raff Sts.
