SEVEN Border Bushrangers players had made the South West Country side after three trials games at Miles on Saturday.

Killarney has four players in the side - fullback Michael Marshall, centre Coedie Tandy and second rowers Mick Bloomfield and John Trindall.

Goondiwindi Maroons player Brodie McDonald, Goondiwindi Blue prop Sililo Stavenow and Wallangarra forward Matt Rouen are on the bench.

The South West Country side was selected after three trials games at Miles on Saturday - two involving Border and one between Roma and the Western League, which the boys from the far west won.

The selected team will play Northern Wide Bay Country at Kingaroy on May 4 where players have the opportunity to press for selection in the Central division team or the Outback team.

Luke Brosnan, who is originally from Killarney, played for Roma on Saturday and is in the Country side at lock.
