Bourkes step up against Allora at Slade Park

JASON Steketee steered Maryvale Condamine to a seven-wicket win against Allora at Slade Park on Saturday with an unbeaten 77.

Batting first, Allora was dismissed for 122, Josh Henry top scoring with 29.

Bourkes were involved in all 10 wickets, Kieran being the most successful with 3-24 off six overs.

His father Kevin, uncle Paul and cousin Michael shared the rest of the wickets with Paul running out one player.

Kieran, who made 30, then added 65 with Steketee for the third wicket.

In the game on the Queens Park turf, RSL Diggers batted first to score 196.

Jeff Morris top scored with 50, Luke Cullen made 31 and Jamie Saunders 29.

Morris and Jamie Saunders added 50, Cullen and Jamie Saunders, 51 for Diggers.

Anthony Nero was the best Sovereign bowler with 2-30 off six overs. In reply, Tony Munro made 27 in 103.

Saunders took 4-18 off four overs, a catch and run out.
