Boy, 12, among injured after head-on crash

A SEDAN and ute collided head-on at Claydons Rd at Killarney on Saturday afternoon.

A spokesman for the Queensland Ambulance Service said crews were called about 1.40pm.

Ambulance, police and fire services attended the scene.

A 42-year-old man was treated for chest and back pain, and a 17-year-old girl suffered a seat belt injury.

A 12-year-old boy was also treated for shoulder pain.

It is also believed a fourth patient was taken from the scene by private transport.

The three patients were transported to Warwick Hospital by ambulance.

Police investigations are continuing.
