Brace yourself for chilly week
DON'T let the sunny days fool you into leaving your jumper at home, because the cool breeze is here to stay.
With beautiful weather at the weekend, it was tempting to whip out the summer attire again, but Bureau of Metrology forecaster Jonty Hall said not to be too hasty.
"We are going to get plenty of clear skies and there's lots of sunshine around, but over the next few days the cool temperatures will arrive," Mr Hall said.
Yesterday dropped to a low of 2 degrees and got up to 16 degrees about noon.
Today will be much the same.
"(Today), with the south-westerly winds, we'll see a maximum of 14 degrees and a low of 2," Mr Hall said.
"It will get colder into the first part of (this) week with (tomorrow) and Wednesday the coolest mornings."
He said temperatures could drop to minus-2 degrees both days with highs in the mid-teens.
"It will feel quite cool with those south-westerly breezes around too," Mr Hall said.
"It shouldn't be that windy, but the breeze will be there and quite chilly."
Thursday will be a touch warmer, with a morning temperature of zero degrees which should rise to 17 during the day.
One woman who took advantage of the sunny weekend was Emily Lane who enjoyed the picturesque sunset down Junabee Rd on Saturday evening.
No rain is predicted this week.
