Brains set to rattle at trivia night
IT'S brain rattling time again tonight, when trivia tragics from Allora and beyond gather in the Allora Community Hall for what has become a social calendar tradition, the St Patrick's School annual Rattle of Brains trivia night.
The St Patrick's School P&F Association invites the wider Southern Downs community to head to Allora and test trivia knowledge during the 13th annual trivia night fundraiser.
Questions will test the dedicated trivia buffs attending so, if you are doing a little pre-night study, leave no stone unturned. While soaking up world and national stage facts, don't neglect the local area.
While taking a break cramming knowledge from the books you might like to hone your paper plane construction and coin tossing skills.
Once again a great night is promised with prizes, giveaways, pizza, supper and a bar will be operating.
At this time of year, the St Patrick's School is always humbled by the wonderful generosity of our local and regional sponsors and the support by the patrons.
Those wishing to test their trivia knowledge can nominate a team of eight by phoning the St Patrick's School in Allora on 4666 3551.
If you are having trouble putting together a team, individuals can also nominate and organisers will find you a space.
Trivia fees to take part on the night are just $10 each which can be paid at the door on the night.
Successful teams can win $300 (first prize), $200 (second place) and $100 (third place) and the hotly contested wooden spoon.
Throughout the evening you can try your hand at tossing for the rum bottle, plus dozens of other great prizes up for grabs.
Doors open at 6.15pm, with round 1 under way at 7pm.
