BRAZEN: Thieves target Warwick schools
A PONTOON has been stolen from the Condamine River.
Warwick police said the pontoon, which belongs to Scots PGC College was reported stolen yesterday after going missing sometime on the morning of December 7.
Acting Senior Sergeant Lisa Self said the pontoon was a student project.
"Apparently the students had worked very hard to construct it," she said.
"It had also been padlocked to its mooring on the bank of the river near the school."
Investigations are continuing.
Another Warwick school also suffered a theft overnight.
Police report a box trailer was taken from Warwick Christian College between 8.30pm yesterday and 6.30 this morning.
A staff member reported the trailer had been parked under a covered area on the school campus.
