Breakers defeat Magic to earn shot at title
BASKETBALL: In a semi-final that had strong performances from Warwick Magic player Harry Keenan and Breakers player Rob Wagner, Breakers defeated Warwick Magic 55-49.
With this win Breakers secured a spot against Green Chocolate in the basketball grand final which will be held at WIRAC next Wednesday, from 6pm.
Hard Work Crew (34) defeated Soul Baller (22) in a play-off to keep their season alive.
Soul Baller was strong in defence but lacked in attack, which saw their season cut short.
Hard Work Crew will take on third-placed Warwick Magic in a game for bragging rights and a podium finish in the basketball competition.
Presentation of grand final winners and competition MVP will be awarded after the grand final.
