Four intruders bash couple at home

A COUPLE are recovering in Warwick Hospital after being bashed by four intruders at their Weewoondilla Rd home last night.

Police say it appears the four males forced their way into the house through the front door.

Once inside, they punched the female resident in the face and knocked down a male resident, who they kicked on the ground, causing injuries to his ribs, arms and face.

The pair were able to give a description to police of three of the four males.

One was described as 1.75m in height and was wearing a light blue jumper with a hood.

Another was a caucasian male aged about 35-years old with a shaved head, while a third was wearing a black mask with a pattern on the front.

Police believe the offenders did not steal anything from the house, but damaged a plasma television.

The victims were taken to Warwick Hospital by Queensland Ambulance Service and are believed to be in stable conditions.
