BREAKING: Child bitten by snake in Warwick

UPDATE 5.20PM - THE 12-year-old has been taken to Warwick Hospital in a stable condition.
A QAS spokesperson said the boy wasn't showing any signs or symptoms other than the puncture mark on the foot.
When the call was made to 000, it was unclear what type of snake was responsible for the bite.
INITIAL 4.55PM - PARAMEDICS are currently responding to reports of a child being bitten by a snake in Warwick.
The incident occurred just after 4.30pm near the Warwick Weir on East St.
A QAS spokesperson said a 12-year-old is the victim in question.
