Police are directing traffic at the scene of a crash on the New England Hwy

UPDATE: Highway re-opens after crash

UPDATE 2PM: FOUR motorists have sustained minor injuries in a two vehicle car crash Dalveen.

The crash took place close to 12.30pm at the corner of the New England Highway and Lochiel Rd.

One of the vehicles ended up in a ditch off the side of the highway while the other finished on the highway.

There were two people in each car.

Warwick Police, firefighters and ambulance attended the crash.

Senior constable Greg Naoum said the cause of the crash was still under investigation.

He said neither driver returned a positive blood alcohol concentration.

 

 

UPDATE 1.30pm: Police are directing traffic around at two-vehicle smash on the New England Hwy at Dalveen.

The highway is blocked in one lane.

One of the cars involved in the crash has ended up in the ditch and police are advising people to stay clear of the scene.

 

1PM: EMERGENCY services crews are on the scene of a crash on the New England Hwy near Braeside, between Warwick and Stanthorpe.

One lane of the highway is reportedly blocked near Lochiel Rd.

It is understood nobody has been seriously injured in the crash.
