Fire crews on site of grass fire

FIRE crews responded earlier today to a large grass fire burning south-east of Stanthorpe, with at least one shed structure understood to have been under threat.

The location was in the vicinity of Pyramids Road and Parrishes Lane in the Eukey area and auxilliary urban as well as rural fire crews were called out at about 11.19am.

The fire was bought under control quickly and the Eukey Rural Fire volunteers continued to monitor it until 2.15pm.
