Man hit by car on major Warwick street

UPDATE 8.30pm: A 45-year-old man has been taken to Warwick Hospital after being struck by a car on Wood St.
Emergency services were called to the scene opposite Wattle Ave at 7.52pm.
A spokeswoman from Queensland Ambulance and Emergency Services said the man was not seriously injured but suffered cuts to his head and knees.
Paramedics transported the man to hospital at 20.24pm.
INITIAL 8pm: Paramedics are on their way to Wood St where a person has reportedly been struck by a car.
A spokeswoman from Queensland Ambulance Services said a crew was called to the scene on the corner of Wood St and Wattle Ave at 7.52pm.
