BREAKING: Caravan detaches from a car on the Cunningham Hwy

UPDATE: A QUEENSLAND Fire and Emergency crew remains at the scene of suspected vehicle fire on the Cunningham Highway. 

A QFES spokesman said a caravan detached from a car at about 12.20pm and started to emit smoke. 

Three fire crews attended the incident. 

While there was smoke, officers could not find any fire. 

Queensland police were also called to help with traffic control.

12.40pm: A VEHICLE is on fire on the Cunningham Highway at Tregony.

The Queensland Fire and Emergency Service dispatched a single crew to deal with the flames.

They are en route and motorists are advised to be cautious if travelling from Gladfield to Cunninghams Gap.
