Warwick smashes weather record

WARWICK, this is officially the hottest day there has ever been in February.

As of ten minutes ago, our humble little down just smashed the weather record for February by a massive four degrees.

According to the Bureau of Meteorology, the hottest Warwick has ever become in February is 38.5 degrees in 2006.

Today has blown that figure out of the water, sitting at 42.2 degrees as of 3pm.

The average for February is 29.4 degrees.
