Historic Abbey hosting bridal expo

THE heritage-listed Abbey of the Roses on Locke St is set to host a bridal expo on Sunday.

Co-owner Sonia Hunt said the expo would be hosting 20 suppliers from the industry.

"Each supplier will have special offers on the day," Ms Hunt said.

"Brides do not need to be getting married at the Abbey to take advantage of those offers."

The expo will also feature 50 pre-loved wedding dresses from $120 each.

Co-owner Sonia Hunt said brides-to-be could register to attend for free until Tuesday, January 5.

Registrations after Tuesday will be $10 per person.

Guests will receive a complimentary glass of sparkling, and a chance to win one of the lucky door prizes.

The expo will run from 10.30am to 2pm.

For more information or to register phone 4661 9777.
