Brisbane prop laces up for Water Rats on side of scrum
RUGBY UNION: Harry Marshall was a front rower for the Ashgrove Marist Brothers firsts in 2011 and is now the new blind-side flanker for the Warwick Water Rats.
"We were joint premiers in 2011 in the AIC competitions and in 2012 and 2013 played colts one and then premier colts in the front row for GPS,” he said.
Marshall had a break from rugby for three years and returned on the side of the scrum for GPS thirds this season.
Marshall moved to Warwick in June in his role as an exercise physiologist at WIRAC and joined the Water Rats.
"I am really enjoying my footy in Warwick and would love to make the finals and win the cup,” he said.
"I grew up at Longreach and played junior rugby league and then played my first rugby in Year 8 at Ashgrove.”
He was the best player in last weekend's 19-5 loss to Rangers in B grade and will play for Warwick against Bears at 1.30pm this Saturday at Heritage Oval in Toowoomba.
The Warwick women next play on July 8.
