A BRITISH member of Parliament has been released on bail after being arrested on allegations of sexually assaulting two men.

Conservative member Nigel Evans, 55, was questioned on allegations of attacks on two males in their 20s, according to BBC News.

Mr Evans was reportedly arrested on Saturday morning and interviewed by police throughout the day.

The BBC reported the alleged crimes occurred between July 2009 and March this year.

Mr Evans has been bailed until June 19.

Prime Minister David Cameron is believed to have been made aware of the arrest.
