Thomas Burton steps up for Broncos Cup action

RUGBY LEAGUE: Thomas Burton is lapping up second term sport - it gives him the chance to play in the Anglo American Broncos Cup for year 8-10 students.

He is an Allora State School student and part of the combined Allora/Killarney teams in the cup competitions in rugby league and netball.

Thomas plays for Wattles in Warwick and District Junior Rugby League but enjoys the chance to make new friends in school footy.

A forward, he has been among the best player award winners this season.

The competition has hotted up this month and all teams will have the chance to play in finals on June 3. Final round games are on May 21.

There will be more Broncos Cup action today for primary school students.
