Bush search continues
THE search continues for a Nambour man who went missing in Wildash on Sunday morning, and after three days of searching no new leads have been uncovered to indicate his whereabouts.
Emergency teams were expected to reconvene their search at 7am this morning.
The 40-year-old man left his vehicle after it became bogged on an Old Stanthorpe Rd property about 3am Sunday.
He was last seen near Cherry Gully about 11am by a local landowner.
Police, State Emergency Service volunteers, helicopters, farmers, dog squads and stock squads scoured the area he was last seen.
Police held concerns for the man's welfare as he had not been in contact with anyone since.
"The man is described as being 175cm tall, Caucasian in appearance, blue eyes, short brown hair and a brown goatee beard," police said.
"He was last seen wearing black shorts, a blue t-shirt and boots."
Three people - a woman and two teenagers - travelling in the car with the man at the time it became bogged stayed in the car and were located by police on Sunday.
