Business wins $10000 in Million Dollar Piggy promotion
A Million Dollar Piggy promotion has brought home the bacon for one Sunshine Coast business owner.
Paul Vandersluis, from BodyOlogy Sunshine Coast, scored a cool $10,000 as the overall finalist in the Million Dollar Piggy promotion, run by Australian Regional Media, publisher of this masthead title.
Advertisers had the chance to win $1 million simply by placing a full page ad in participating newspapers from May 16 to June 30.
Mr Vandersluis won the chance to win and had to draw three identical piggy banks from 100 to take the million, but missed out -- yet still walked away with $10,000 cash.
Four runner-up $1000 prizes - one from each participating region - went to LiveLife Pharmacy Cannonvale (Northern Region), Sunshine Coast Grammar School (Sunshine Coast region), Falvey's Grand & Cecil Hotels (South West Queensland) and Rooftech Australia (Northern NSW).
