Busy weekend of motor racing continues at Morgan Park

MOTORSPORT: This weekend is one of the busiest in motorsport at Morgan Park with the Six Banger Nationals in drag racing and a round of the state championships in circuit racing.

Both events have attracted more than 150 drivers.

A six-cylinder enthusiast has travelled from Western Australia with a vehicle for the Six Bangers and three drivers from South Australia are in town for the state championships in circuit racing.

Local drivers got the chance to race on the drag strip or in circuit racing, whatever their preference.

Rain on Friday was a worry for organisers but there was perfect weather for a weekend of racing.

Both event will go to this afternoon.
