Buy a bra for breast cancer

DAINTY bras, classy briefs and all things beautiful for your underwear will be on offer to support our McGrath Foundation breast care nurse tomorrow.

Leonard’s Trading Store owner Donna Hardy wants to introduce nurse Sherry Phillips to the Rose City and will hold an Intimo Lingerie party tomorrow afternoon to raise funds.

“Breast cancer could happen to any one of us,” Ms Hardy said.

“We are lucky to have the services of a McGrath Foundation breast care nurse in town.”

The lingerie party will offer customised fitting, which Ms Hardy has trialled finding the perfect fit for herself and encourages others to come along.

“The fittings are very discreetly done... it’s a European product of high quality which is true to its size,” she said.

The party will feature a presentation of various bras, undies and camisoles for the ladies and jocks to make your man feel great.

Ten per cent of all purchases will be donated to Mrs Phillips to help her undertake her role supporting men and woman across south-western Queensland.

Mrs Phillips’ service operates on a Thursday and Friday night from Warwick Health Service and also services Stanthorpe, Texas, Inglewood and Millmerran. Ms Hardy encourages Rose City residents to come along to have a look, enjoy cupcakes and meet Mrs Phillips to become aware of her role in the region.

“Even if people don’t want to purchase, everyone is welcome to come along,” Ms Hardy said.

There will be a cupcake drive for Ms Hardy, which will be on every Tuesday at Leonards at 69 Dragon Street with all funds donated back to the cause.

The event starts at 2pm. Call Ms Hardy on 4661 1449 to attend.
